If there was one person on this planet who I would personally love to raid their closet, it would have to be none other than Ms Rachel Zoe herself. Fans of the reality show” The Rachel Zoe Project” will remember that her weakness is vintage shopping and her birkin bag.

Ok, so let’s face it, her style is a little over the top right? But her fashion influence is adored by many. The industry worships her, her style and attention to detail is why she is one of the most coveted stylist around. Anything she pulls together looks so effortlessly. Her A list clients adore her. Her devoted clients are Demi Moore, Jennifer Gardner, Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz, Anne Hathaway and Mischa Barton just to name a few. And who could forget she was responsible for transforming Nicole Richie to the style icon she is today. 

They say in Hollywood you’ve made it big time, if you own very own Birkin handbag. Back in 2007, Forbes named this style as on the world’s most extravagant handbag on their list. This handbag will set you from $7000 to $15000 USD, depending on leather fabrication and exotic skin, special editions you can reach over the $100K price tag. If you do your research, the Birkin bag was inspired by French Actress Jane Birkin. It was later claimed that Chairman of Hermes at the time her struggling her luggage at the airport. Therefore the Birkin was designed for her and she became a style icon. Who would not forget, not so long ago when Marc Jacobs named the Stam Bag after model Jessica Stam.

What is with the Balenciaga Motorcycle bag that the stars love? Over the years, we have witnessed a growing number of stars sporting the ever popular purse. Some may say it’s overrated and overexposed, but the style really speaks for itself.

With its long tassels that hang off the bag and its structured shape there is no denying this purse is probably one of the most recognisable purse to date.

So what makes this purse still be on top of every stylist list?  You see the style has been around for awhile now. Trends come and go, but the very fact that style is still going strong is amazing. It’s not long now, when it’s that time of year,  everyone’s social calendar is full. With the holiday buzz looming near us, there’s no doubt that we will find ourselves in the next few months, preparing for that all important Work functions, Christmas parties,  and the anticipation of what to wear for new year’s.

One thing that would definitely be on every gal’s agenda is to find that ultimate purse that will carry you thru all these events. So what are the latest trends coming out fashion week? What are women in the streets of LA wearing? For all the fashion forward women out there,  Oversized clutches are apparently making a big splash in the hands of many celebs. There’s no ideal size, the bigger the better. Obviously the bigger the purse the more statement you are making.

If you find yourself reading this, then you’re probably curious to see how Style-Forte was established. Firstly, I would like to welcome you to my online store, my name is Mary and Style-Forte has been my passion for the past couple of years. The purpose of this section is to give you guys a brief rundown about me and how the idea came about. Most of my regular clients may already know that this business has been my life, I work from home and am full time mum.

It all started on eBay, when I decided to sell several clothing items. After working in a fashion boutique for so many years, I found myself accumulating so much clothes that decluttering just made sense. eBay at the time was still fairly new, but I found that there was a market for budget fashion online. It would be another two years later, when I relocated to Sydney that my family encourage me to purse this.

MY STORE CONCEPT.

Do you really think it is possible to have that bag your favourite celebrities are showing off, but without the designer price tag? Most definitely. The concept of the store is to stay in style without breaking the budget. Handbags would have to be the most noticeable piece of accessory, so be sure to check out what is available and update your wardrobe for this season.

BEHIND THE NAME.

Style-forte embodies what we all represent. In some way, we are every bit a fashionista, whether we are clearly influenced by the people around us, follow the latest fad or innovative enough to create our own individual Style-Forte is what women excels in which is the love for fashion, handbags, accessories. At this stage my store is mainly focusing on handbags. In the near future, I would like to take other avenues and maybe include other funky accessories. My store is still a working progress.
